Like previous reviewers, on the whole I think this as a good snug case for the HTC Desire Z that appears to be well made. My only niggle, and it is very small one, is that it's not quite tall enough i.e. about 2mm of the phone sticks out the top. If it wasn't for the ribbon, which is used to assist in taking the phone out of the case, then I think there would be enough room to push the phone fully in. However, I don't want to cut off the ribbon as it is a useful feature in getting the phone out of the case such is the snug fit.
My only concern with the phone sticking out the top slightly is that scratches may appear on the silver casing at the top of the phone. So far this hasn't happened though (I've had the case in and out of my pocket for a week now) and my concerns may be ill founded. The screen is well protected though which is the main thing.

Excellent case, good quality, very good fit and easy to use. the pull up tab is great. My phone feels really at home in this. Genuine leather and fits well after only a couple of uses.

This is a useful accessory, especially for clumsy people like me. The screen of the Desire Z is quite big, and a thin plastic film just doesn't cover all the damage I can inflict on a phone.
The phone itself is quite big already, but the pouch doesn't add too much to the size. And it really looks good, especially compared to the price!
A brief warning, the pouch is a bit stiff when it arrives (the problem with leather), but if you push your phone in and out 15-20 times, it gets perfect. Also, the tag at the back really helps to get the phone out.
And honestly, the phone must be well in there. The inside looks so comfy that if they made bigger sizes I'd get one to use as a sleeping bag ;-)
