Connect two different devices to the DVI+AUDIO connection of the switch and select manually which device you want to put through.

For AUDIO connection it is possible to choose between coaxial digital RCA or normal 2xRCA connection.

Only digital signal will be passed. - Input: A) DVI female + 2x RCA audio + 1x RCA digital female connection

B) DVI female + 2x RCA audio + 1x RCA digital female connection

This is a good little unit and a good price - but I should have paid more attention to detail when buying - handles digital signals only - so you can't use it with VGA to DVI-I cables (I got it to switch between the DVD player and a laptop. DVD player works fine but nothing from the laptop gets through - it can't because the unit is DVI-D only - no analogue! - Despite having DVI-I female connectors!). It's not an expensive mistake to make but be warned. Shame really.

Works as required. Only quibble is that sometimes pixel snow is seen. Flicking between the two interfaces using the A&B buttons cures this.
