It's a cheapy. Buy a better quality one. I bought two of these. The second after I thought the first one was just bad luck. The second was just as bad. It just isnt fit for purpose. Sometimes it will scan but most times it just sits there clicking away (like for an hour) doing nothing. Also the Preview doesnt show anything. It's blank. Complete rubbish. I actually threw it into the dustbin.

I bought this to replace a Canon 5000F because Canon have said they are not updating the driver for Windows 7.
It is so SLOW. I scan all personal document - bills, credit card slips etc and probably do 50 - 100 scans a week. I'll die before this machine gets anywhere near this.
I'm going to try an Epson.

After receiving this scanner, I took it out of the box and thought this looks good. But how wrong I was, for I tried to install the software and it would not install, I went on to the HP site and down loaded the latest software for windows 7, which took an hour and tried to install again. After a total of five hours wasted, I gave up and returned it. I ordered a Cannon instead and that one installed in under five minutes.
