Disappointing 28 Nov 2005
By A Customer
This paper sounds much better on paper (pardon the pun) than it is. If a mirror-like photolab finish is what you're after, you'll be disappointed. The paper is indeed very glossy - BUT only until it's been printed on! (which is pointless). The ink just sort of sits on top of it, even after you've allowed several hours to dry. The result is more matte than glossy - there's only a negligible difference in the finish with the cheaper hp semi-glossy everyday paper. For a proper glossy finish, I highly recommend Canon photo paper (which is how I know it's not my printer, but the paper that's the problem). I'll only use this for casual prints and I'm glad I didn't buy more before trying it first.

Only 2 stars - for being relatively inexpensive, and for overall nice quality and thickness.
