In the confusion of looking for a digital camera, how the camera looks can change your opinion about it. I have tested many cameras and most that a perticularly small never come up as well as an average size camera.

When I tried out this one I was shocked about how much it had to offer. There are many different setting, which even some costing 200 pound + do not have. The screen is vibrant and good in sunlight. The video streams well, unless you are shaking it around a lot. Being 7 megapixels does make the quality of shots impressive, even when blown up to my full computer screen (12",9")

All in all this camera for its price is fantastic deal. Trying not to sound cheesy as many do. I would advise you to get this camera if you do not want to spend over 250 pounds, it really is shocking what it can do.

I was very upset when I dropped this camera when the lens was extended and it broke. I recommend using the wrist strap and ensuring the lens is in, unless you are taking a picture to avoid doing the same thing! :(
I got this camera March 2007 for a birthday present and I was pretty impressed. It's a decent little camera, and I would recommend it to anyone who just likes taking casual pictures of friends, family etc. I also go to a lot of gigs and I took it with me and got some decent pictures and video.
I can think of some negatives though, that's why it's not a 5 star. Firstly it doesn't have great memory, and I definitely reccommend buying a 1/2GB SD card (It can't take anymore than 2GB, but that's plenty-about 700 photos on normal quality).
The second thing, I found the software that came with it irritating, but obviously thats just a personal preference, and if you're like me you can just connect the camera and use it like a USB stick OR just take out the SD card and get your photos off that way.
Another thing is that when you do a video, you can playback on the camera, but it won't have any sound until you connect it to the computer which can be very annoying at times, but its bearable!
Final negative is that it doesn't tell you the battery life until you are running quite low on battery, which can be annoying, so keep some spare batteries with you!
All in all its a pretty decent camera, it has lots of different shooting modes-Night, Macro, Fast Shot etc. It is really simple to use and the picture quality is good, (if you zoom too much it warns you that the print quality will be reduced), the screen is a good size, and is nice and bright and its not too bulky and heavy. The sound quality and the image quality on the video is brilliant.

I purchased this camera for £50 in August at a different shop. For fifty pounds I was very pleased and I cannot complain really. It is a splendid camera. I recommend buying a 2 gb card and you can fit 700 pics at the best quality.

However, the rechargable batteries have now died, they only last under an hour when I put them in now. This is only five months on and I haven't used them an aweful lot. I will have to buy some more because I cannot find the receipt.

I loved this camera.

Advantages:
-Easy to use
-You never have to read the manual because all the information is saved as small files on the camera so if you want some advice you can just look at the help menu on the camera
-Fun extras like borders/black and white/sepia
-Lots of easy to use setting
-Its taken alot of abuse from me, Iv dropped it a few times and tend to just throw it my bag, have never used a case and it is still very reliable
-3x optical zoom is great for most photos
-uses AA batteries so if the camera goes flat when you are out, you can just buy cheap batteries so you dont miss any photo opportunities

Dissadvantages
-Software is annoying but you can get around this by not plugging in the camera and just inserting the memory card instead (this also saves battery power)
-The camera does not save your settings therefore if you are taking night shots you have to reselect the option every time you turn it on which I found to be the most fustrating thing about this camera.

The Advantages far outweigh the disadvantages of this camera, and with its tough case I wouldn't be overly worried about buying second hand.
