HP's remarkably compact and lightweight PhotoSmart 145 photo printer delivers high 4,800 dpi resolutions images, in crisp detail and vibrant colour, right to the palm of your hand. Producing 4-by-6-inch borderless prints in approximately 90 seconds, the 2.9 pound PhotoSmart 145 is able to print directly from your digital camera's memory card, so you can literally print at any time, anywhere.

With four built-in memory card slots, you'll have no worries about compatibility either. The PhotoSmart 145 accepts CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Secure Digital/Multi Media Card and xD-Picture Card media, so it's compatible with virtually any digital camera. And, a built-in two-line LCD enhances navigation and easily guides you through each task.

The HP PhotoSmart 145 offers USB connectivity for easy connection to your PC or Mac and comes with a complete bundle of photo and imaging software to let you edit images and even create custom photo slide shows, which can be saved to a CD. If you're a black-and-white buff, consider adding the optional HP 59 (C9359A) grey photo ink cartridge for high-quality prints. The PhotoSmart 145 comes with just about everything you'll need to get started except a USB cable. It is backed by a one-year warranty.

What a neat little unit,unpacked and in use in about three mins,so simple to set up i class it as idiot proof but i supose some one will prove me wrong on that one? I used it with two different cards no problem,picture quality good,fade factor as yet unknown,i see there is a 12 volt lead available now that make this bit of kit versatile,well pleased overall,only gripe the price of ink cartridges as ever,why are they so dear?.

This is a fantastic product!!!!!. Its so easy to use. I had a demo in a store and thought "it can't be as easy as that" but I was wrong. The quality is fantastic,theHP paper is expensive so I tried Epson. I thought that gave even better results. The printer allows the best of both worlds. You get high quality images but you can get them instantly, Like those instant cameras. It prints very high quality 6 x4 images in no time.
The best thing about the printer is it's very small and totally portable, and you don't need a computer, in the past I had to take my laptop to view images any in detail. The printer has an index print function so you can select which images you want to print, it even has two quality settings. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I would just like to say that this little beauty allowed me to take my printer recently to my sons wedding and print off 30 prints of the wedding so the bride,groom and relatives could see the prints the next morning.
Due to its light weight and compact size it is ideal for taking with you for that instant photo moment and would be ideal on holiday, kids birthday, wedding etc.
I give it 9 out of 10
