Compatible with Linux 10 Jul 2014
I am sorry, no idea it is compatible with Linux. I do know that it is comparable with OSX. I am sorry if that is of no help.

No, the standard printer has one tray so to print on different sizes of paper the media has to be swapped over.

Unfortunately not this printer uses 950 (Black) and 951 (colours) cartridges.

You shouldn't have a problem with this printer I have 3 of these on our work network infact I only buy HP because I very rarely have a problem connecting any HP product.

No. It does not scan. It is just a very good ink-jet printer with the facility of being installed with a wireless connection so that you can print from your computer phone of laptop etc. Ray
