Are you looking for a high output laser printer? If so, look no further. HP's brand name relies heavily on their laser printers, and maybe this is the area on which they should focus. Remember the old Laserjet III? It was a big chunk of heavy equipment, but about as reliable as they get. This printer is similar to the old Mark III in terms of reliability (which is excellent), but A LOT faster. In fact, it prints 100 pages in the same time it takes the 1100 to print about ten pages. Really. But there's one problem: when I print documents of more than 130 pages, something goes wrong in that the printer stops printing at around page 130, and the rest of the print job is lost. Maybe it's not the printer's fault, but it doesn't matter that much, because I simply order seperate print jobs of not more than 100 pages at a time. The bottom line is that this printer is lightning fast and very reliable. Probably the best printer our office has ever bought.
