Excellent business printer 17 Jan 2011

We purchased this printer for our work. It comes with two trays that fit 500 sheets per tray, even though the photo only shows the printer with one tray. I was worried that I was only buying the printer with one tray, but I researched it and the product number matched the two tray model. So I was relieved when it was the model with two trays. It is very fast and prints well. Setup was easy. We ended up buying 9 of these printers and it was well worth the money. This printer is a work horse. Was delivered very fast. Amazon had the cheapest price on these printers when I was looking.

High quality versatile workhorse 28 Jan 2011
By Ray D. Krueger Koplin - Published on Amazon.com
We've been using this printer for about four months now printing invoices and postage for shipments. We loaded up 6x9 heavy catalog envelopes in tray one, 200 full sheet labels in tray two (holds 500 sheets of paper but labels are way thicker) and 500 sheets of standard letter paper in tray three. We assigned the media to the different types of postage in our Pitney Bowes shipping manager and we haven't had to mess with a thing since.

With 12,500 pages in the toner cartridge and the huge trays it's a long time between reloads and we haven't had a single jam, warning or error so far.

We have only had this product a little over a month, but the speed is amazing. It replaced another hp workhorse. So far, so good.

Fast, reliable and quiet printer. 13 Mar 2014

We have purchased four of these printers for our business. Over the past year we have found them to be reliable, fast and quiet. We have not had any jamming problems, as others have mentioned. We have stuck with HP original toner.

Note that HP sells this printer as models with and without automatic duplexing. Since everyone in our office prefers duplex printing, it was critical to purchase either the P3015dn or P3015x. The P3015x is identical to the P3015dn, but includes a second 500-sheet paper tray. Both have the 10/100/1000mb network port and duplexing. We added the second tray on the first three that we purchased, too.

Bottom line, we are quite happy with these printers.

Firmware bug 5 May 2014
By Marcelle Irv - Published on Amazon.com

Printer works well as advertised. Our only problem is a firmware bug associated with the selection of pre-printed paper. The printer always prints duplex. This bug has been documented on several HP printers as long as two years ago. HP has failed to correct this. Our work around is to select bond paper, rather than pre-printed paper (forms).
