    5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! 2 Feb 2010
I've just set this up on our main desktop PC via the cable and to my laptop via wireless and I have to say it's the easiest set up I've done!!
I read lots of reviews on different sites about this printer/scanner/copier before I committed to buying it and generally the only negative comment was about setting up the wireless but I found it really easy, I just followed the instructions that the disk gave me and it went smooth as anything.
We only need this for family use so nothing hard core but still college work and work documents and photos for the family. I've tried it already on a couple things via my wireless connection and it runs exactly the same as any other printer, not too loud, very very fast and the finished product was really good.
I'm glad I got this and I wanted to let everyone know that a young mum who really isn't any good at technical stuff managed to set it up by herself after being awake 20 hours ... if that isn't a simple system of setting up then I don't know what is!

As the title says its a awesome printer and it works extremely well with 2 pcs and a my mac all connecting to it. It is very fast and good for printing mock ups to present to clients (I'm a Graphic Designer) although its not ideal its better than nothing. Colours to CYMK arent that far off either. Overall if your someone that isn't pc or mac literate this is a really easy printer to set up and well worth the money and if you shop around you can get it cheaper - I got mine from Comet in the sale.

Inks are a little expensive - I haven't had to by a new set although I have only had it for a week and a half so only time will tell if they are worth it or the compatibles are good??

Worth While buy and is a must for the average home user!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Printer 8 Mar 2010
Having read the really negative posts about difficulty with wireless setup I thought I'd have a bit of a play with this, being a bit of a techie :)

What I did find was that I had alot of the issues mentioned here when either the laptop or the printer was not in the same room as the router. This may just be my thick walls, but once I had the printer and my laptop setup in the same room as the router setup ran faultlessly and I was able to position the printer in situ under the stairs and can now happily print to it from anywhere in the house.

So my advise is to carry out the install with the printer and pc/laptop close to the router.
