To put into context, I have had the use of 3 inkjet printers in my lifetime. An Epson Stylus Colour II that is ancient and prints crooked text, but still works. A Lexmark which gave me a few years of near laser performance and quality followed by some more years of average performance before packing up. And now this, which gave me mere weeks of decent print quality. It seems that inkjet printers have been on a downward spiral over this time period, culminating in this with its inconsistent and already wonky printing. At least it can scan and photocopy, but with ridiculously large print margins it can't even copy an A4 page without some cut-off at the bottom, and the paper feed barely even works. I suspect that I'll be binning this one sooner than the old Epson, which says it all about a once leading brand who have lost their way.
