The HP Deskjet 656c Colour Printer provides exceptional value for your home printing needs. Able to churn out monochrome pages at six pages per minute and colour documents in three pages per minute, this compact printer will keep pace with a family's need while using very little desk space. Great as a first printer,

This affordable printer is good as a first printer, or as a backup printer. I myself use it just to print university lecture notes and rough work.I had no problems setting it up under Windows XP. It includes the necessary USB cable. It's quite quick and relatively silent - it's what you'd expect for that price. It's also compact so it's easier to squeeze in.
