After trying cheap, own-brand replacement ink cartridges from local stores, I decided to go back to the 'proper' ones. The cheaper type don't last as long, in my experience, and certainly don't give as high a print quality. This black cartridge gives a clear, deep-black print and on Amazon the price is about the same as the store-bought alternatives. I'll stick to the originals from now on!

The image for this product is decieving implying that the cartridge is recycled. However, what appears to have arrived is a brand new genuine five year old cartridge. It works great though--thus the five star rating.
