Product Description

Noah Baker never wanted to betray The Others. But if his military commanders want him to covertly investigate a Lupine scientist - whose extraordinary research on sensory perception in werewolves could be used to develop werewolf-sharp senses in human soldiers - Noah must oblige. Even if it means deceiving the woman he desires the most.Samantha Carstairs is the personal assistant to the Alpha of the Silverback Clan, and as best friend to the Lupine community's most brilliant scientist, she is privy to its most dangerous secret. Noah knows that Sam will never leak the scientific research...so he must find another way to get it, while keeping Sam close. But someone else is after Sam's secret. Who is the other spy infiltrating The Others? If their genetic secrets get into the wrong hands, all hell could break loose. Now Noah's true loyalty is put to the test as he fights to protect The Others - and his beloved Sam - and find the impostor...before it's too late.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of the bunch !!!!!, 13 May 2008
By A. Davies "teddybach" (uk) - See all my reviews

while the main theme is boy meets girl the story around it is far more gripping that 2 & 3, hot action mixed with good writing, its a must read. It would be wonderfull if some of the old characters could have a second book & expand on their story, there are so many interesting ways they could go. More please!!!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars OK, 10 Nov 2009

For the previous revieweres to give such rave reviews about this book means it's obvious they've yet to read J R WARD/KENYON/FEEHAN/FRANK/SINGH .... this is an average book with a mixtures of everything, it's nothing special compared to the above authors, but if you have nothing else to read it's ok. ( Does get a little boring and very decriptive at times )

5.0 out of 5 stars another of the Other Series..., 29 Oct 2008
In Howl an the Moon, we meet up with Sam Carstairs (Werewolf and Personal Assistant to the Alpha of the Silverback Clan) and Noah Baker (who we met in The Demon You Know). Noahs' sister in now happily married to Rule (the demon) and Noah is back in Vircolac for another reason, he's working undercover.

Sam's best friend Annie Cryer is working on something important in her lab. Something that could very well level the playing field between Were's and Humans. Sam is left in the dark when Annie goes missing, having only left notes and papers that Sam can't begin to understand.

Noah feels more and more uncomfortable in the role he's been assigned to and when he finds out the scientist he has to retreive information from happens to be Sams' best friend he can't help but wish he'd turned the job down. Not that he had a choice...

The building relationship between the two main characters entwines their own subplots and strengthens the story through their shared experiences. Warren is the queen of sexy, bang-bang-bang storytelling and hell, she's done it again.
