Theese oven gloves give total freedom when removing hot cooking vessels from the oven.
Traditinal oven mittens are not very comfertable and they can be dangerous,
as it can be dificult to grip a very hot casarole dish. With theese gloves it is so easy.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I have been spoilt by the original "SuperGlove" item I had ... but this is not quite the same. The brand is actually called "PolyGlove", and does provide protection from hot objects for a reasonable time. However, the original is a twin layer glove that gives even more protection; you could hold a tray from the oven for about 20 seconds without feeling any heat. With this glove, it warms up in about 10 seconds. That said, the heat is still within the realms of being bearable without burning ... but the heat is getting through none the less.
If I hadn't had the former, I would have been happy with the degree of protection offered by this unit, but once you've tried a better item, you see flaws with other products.
