Twice the capacity of our plastic electric kettle and looks a lot better .No frills ,just plain simple technology !! Should've bought two as large kettles aren't easy to come buy .
Will get a lot of use next winter on the Esse solid fuel stove .

kettle works fine if a little noisy which is useful as the whistle didn't work.
my main concern is if you tip it up to get the last litre out the lid falls out
giving you a nasty scald. i soon learnt to extend my pinkie to wedge it in in.
it is too dangerous to have out when guests are around.can't recomend it

I was looking for a large kettle and have not been dissapointed with this. It is very light weight (until you fill it with loads of water) and has a stable whistle.

Disappointed
The kettle rusted at the rim and lid less than 2 weeks after purchase even though I've been very careful to empty all the water every time after use. Read more

Horwood 3.5lt kettle
I cannot get 3.5 litres into this kettle. If I fill it over the maximum level I might just get 3 litres into it. Otherwise I have no complaints.
