PROS:
Good soft fleece mattress cover part that fits a double sized mattress exactly.
Good elasticated skirt that should fit even deep mattresses. Doesn't slip at all on the mattress.
Still works fine with an additional mattress cover over the top.
Consists of a pillow section (unheated), a body section and a feet section on both sides.
Quick to heat up the bed (approx 15 mins).
Fantastic on a cold night!
CONS:
Limited settings if used with an additional timer switch (see below).
Two small plastic plates (matchbox sized in area) on the top edge of the mattress about 6 inches below the pillow area where the controls connect. Would have been better placed on the side, however personally they don't bother me at all.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
There are four electronic switches on each controller. (1 controller on each side)
(1) An on/off slider power switch which allows you to totally switch it off when required.
Three further single press buttons that function only when the power switch is set to on.
(2) A body heat control which has 10 settings (0-9). 0 is off, 9 is hottest.
(3) A feet heat control which has 10 settings (0-9). 0 is off, 9 is hottest.
(4) A duration timer which has 4 settings (1hr, 5hrs, 8hrs, 12hrs).
Pressing these buttons repeatedly makes them cycle through the possible settings. This is easy enough to do even in the dark as each one has an associated LED display.
One thing to note is that when the power switch is turned on the other three settings initialise to 9,9 and 1hr. Bear this in mind if you are thinking of using an additional timer switch to turn it on at a certain time in the evening.
Note also that the duration timer does not allow a permanently on setting. It will always turn it off eventually (max 12hrs) if left unattended and not reset.
The contollers hang down about 2ft below the mattress level (so about floor level) and then have power cords of about 4ft to the plugs.

It was my choice to buy this product as my husband doesn't feel the need for heat at night so the option for a dual control was essential.
When we received the blanket, the best thing I found was it was designed like a fitted sheet so would fit to the bed as a normal fitted sheet would which was a plus point compared to other blankets.
The night we fitted it, it seemed to go on well and the top sheet went over comfortably. I was anxious that it would feel comfortable to sleep on so my hubby wouldn't complain and have to say I didn't find it uncomfortable at all although for the first two nights it did have a strong (new) smell that we both didn't particularly enjoy.
The heat settings are easy although I am miffed they don't have a timer so the blanket can come on automatically as if I forget to go and put it on, I have to get into a cold bed :-(
After a while the blanket does ruck up slightly however not enough to annoy me to take it off. I tend to try to straighten it out when rucked.
All in all I like this blanket and love the heat it gives at night. Have never used it the whole night as just use it for warming the initial chill off :-)
