Good Debut. 1 May 2002
Format:Audio CD
For Holly to make the transition from soap star to
Pop singer she's taken a good first step. The song is not to be taken too heavily to heart simply because its supposed to be a fun sexy single. Coupled with the fact that shes not too bad on the eyes. She made a catchy cover version of a debut single and deserves to go a long way. I recommend the song because of its ability to work the brain into loving it. When i first heard it and saw the video i said "thats that girl from neighbours" and the song didnt particularly move me at first but when you listen to it more it hypnotises you in a way only few songs can. Its reminiscent of Reggae song and you'll know this already if you listen to it in all its glory. The bassline is big. And i mean big. Big and deep basslines allways draw me in. I bought it yesterday. Good for your Jeep.

Fantastic! 16 April 2002
Format:Audio CD
This is a rather remarkable single from a person who is new to the music industry. However, it does rely rather too heavily on style, instead of substance. If she,(Holly Valance), is to continue making music at this level, she will have to focus on substance.
From a male perspective, the video for this single compensates a lot for the lack of substance in the music...
The use of Indian samples and instruments in contemporary Pop music is becoming an increasing trend and this is reflected in Valance's debut single with the use of the tabla during break points and the distinctly Bollywood style of background music. (Missy Eliot's 'get yer freak on', is another example of a Western artist using Indian instruments and samples).

A must buy for all Holly Valance fans!

By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This was massively disappointing. The vocals are flat and poorly modulated, with little power or precision, and the unimaginative, near-identical orchestration to the original version only serves to prove what a pale imitation this is.

A disappointing debut on all counts. Ms Valance's voice is thoroughly unremarkable and this video is remarkable for all the wrong reasons. Avoid.
