How many times have you read, or seen on a TV talk show, an overweight individual profess, “I have tried everything, but the weight just won’t come off!”? Perhaps this describes you yourself.

No matter how much weight you want to lose, your best plan is to combine improved eating habits with increased exercise. Dieting alone isn’t a smart idea, because often, you’ll run into a bottleneck in which the weight loss ceases long before you reach your goal weight range.

Even if dieting alone gets you to your desired weight, for how long can you maintain the diet? In the absence of a smart exercise regimen, dieting must be very low calorie in order to sustain a loss of all the weight you want to kiss goodbye.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not A Great Book 8 Aug 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I found the book too short and lacking in detail where it mattered. None of the concepts are covered in any great detail. If you're new to HIIT then you will likely not know where to start. More advanced participants won't know how to progress either.

2.0 out of 5 stars Less than OK 24 Oct 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
For the price, not enough detail for my liking. There are a lot of meaningless images in this book to further fill in the space which meant I read it in around 20 minutes. I question some of the exercises being good enough for HIIT - Does the author really know what she's talking about advising chair squats? I don't think so. There are better books out there. Got my money back.

1.0 out of 5 stars What's to it? 14 Aug 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
The book is too broad in scope and too thin in detail, with each section barely covered in enough detail to leave the reader with any kind of understanding. There are way too many images inside which are just for filler. A waste of money - Returned for refund.
