BRAND NEW HIGH CABIN BED - A COMPLETE ROOM IN ONE CABINET MADE TO BRITISH STANDARD EN747 The main carcase is made from White quality Melamine coated board, (not paper covered board). This exciting stylish children's bed, which includes a bed base with 'breathing' holes, takes a full 200 X 90cm (3 ft English) mattress (not supplied) and comes flat-packed for easy home assembly! The bed is made to British and European Standards by ourselves in the UK and supplied to major European retailers. For safety reasons the maximum thickness of mattress for this bed is 15cm. The bed has a double door wardrobe with hanging rail, a desk with drawer and room for a PC tower. Behind the large corner desk are shelves, partly hidden by the ladder is a large bookcase, so making this a complete teenager/ childrens bedroom in one cabinet. This bed was especially designed for older children and is not reccomended for children under 6 years of age. It has a total height of 178cm to the top of the ladder, or 173cm to the top of the bed. High beds need to be made to a different standard than normal low beds for obvious safety reasons, the design tests include stability and ladder safety as part of the criteria. The bed comes with full easy to read assembly instructions and, if necessary, a 'help-line' contact number. This bed is made from White and Blue melamine faced wipe-clean, scratch resistant board, it is not paper covered like many sold by UK discount stores. The bed is very robust when assembled. Mattress, Bedding and textiles ARE NOT included in the price. Bed measures approximately 203cm long x 94cm wide (upto 113cm where the ladder fits) x 179cm high. Delivery of this item is possible by a driver to MAINLAND England, Wales and south of (and including) Glasgow/Edinburgh regions of Scotland, but delivery may take 5-15 working days depending on geographical area (Scotland may take a little longer). We deliver to each area in cycle so these are maximum lead times.

Great bed but concentrate when you put it together!,

Great bed, my 10 year old lad loves it. However, the instructions aren't that good, all pictures no words, so it is easy to go wrong. And allow a good part of a day to build it. Once it's up though - GREAT!

I brought this bed from the mrsflatpack website itself for my 6yrs old son, it of a pain from the start as payment hasnt taken when i placed the order so had to wait for them to call me to take a payment which took 3 working days, wasnt told when it was going to be delievered, on that particular day myself and husband were at work lucky my husband left the garage opened that day and two of my neighbours where in as they signed it for me.I had to leave it in the garage for about a month so it was only today that myself, husband and my father built it took us about 8 hours to build it, whoever says they can build it in less time must be have built a bed like it before. lucky i got a very long frontroom as we ended up putting everything together downstairs then tranferring it upstairs to the room and the landing. lucky we had my dad to help me and my husband or it wouldnt of happened as the instructors were terrible to understand, None of it was easy to pair up. Lucky my dad has built alot of stuff in his past and still does theses days Except the instructions and the pictutres that were for trying to help you build it together, the bed was certainly worth it and it is very steady. I hope it last long so i dont have to build another new bed.
