My boys really enjoyed watching this erupt. Easy to set up, can be used again and again if you buy new ingredients. But it's probably cheaper to do it the old fashioned way with vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in an old yoghurt pot!

bought this for a friends little one he is dino mad and loves this, only comes with one egg though so best to buy more for extra fun.

This was a disappointment. You don't get a frothy river of "lava" running down the slope of your volcano. No, because of the poor design, with the central cone having openings to the crater around it, the central volcano cannot be filled high enough. All you get is a feeble fizzing around the base of the central cone. Hardly a "volcano"....
The only reason this merits 2 stars is because it makes a reasonably sturdy prop for imaginative play with the dinos after hatching them. My boys have used it as a volcano but also as an island- because it floats on water even with dinos "riding" on it.
