A fortnight in so we've only used it once (due for another couple of drops). That really nasty drain smell has gone, I hope, never to return.
Very easy to use, and well worth using all the time. To unblock a drain takes 300ml which is 12 doses / 24 weeks' worth of treatment at 25ml per treatment, so I'm glad I'm using this BEFORE I get a blocked drain

We have a chronic problem with the gully draining from both our kitchen and bathroom. It has blocked a number of times (I was able to clear it with large amounts of concentrated bleach at first) but is now stubbornly slow and constantly overflowing. Thought this might do the trick but even after bailing out the gully and adding the HG drain cleaner with an equal amount of warm water to activate it, then leaving the 6 hours recommended the drain is as blocked as ever. The only benefit is that it looks cleaner and doesn't smell now. Looking at the ingredients it is enzyme based; we probably need a more powerful chemical cleaner such as caustic soda.
Update: a second application the next day (finishing up the bottle) also failed to clear the blockage, but then so has a subsequent dose of 5 litres of concentrated caustic soda solution. What's down there!
