I opted to pay a couple of pounds extra as reviews for similar cheaper cables were varied with some saying the cables worked great and others saying they didn't work at all.
There is absolutely no point paying the tens of pounds that high street retailers will try to charge you for a short HDMI cable, but I did not begrudge paying 4 pounds rather than 2 pounds...
For me, at least, the extra 2 pounds was worth it as this cable works flawlessly for me - plus the fact that this cable is apparently HDMI 1.4a capable (audio return, ethernet, 3D and 2k and 4k support) rather than just 1.3.
In the reviews of cheaper cables some have reported that those cables don't work reliably with Panasonic Lumix TZ cameras. Well, I can say that this cable works perfectly reliably with my TZ10
Absolutely no problems with the cable, and I certainly don't feel cheated having paid the extra 2 quid.
