Fun:
There are these talks about some hdmi cables not fully functioning with ps3. I was a bit reserved when I ordered this, cause it was so cheap. It works fine though. cec control works, audio works; Nothing wrong with this cable!

I got this cable free when I bought a PS3 Slim from Amazon.
It didn't work at all, unless I fiddled with the plug where it entered my Toshiba TV.
It felt very loose, and not at all like the positive fit of the cable from my Humax.
I tried the cable from my Humax in all the HDMI sockets on my TV, and that worked fine.
Amazon replaced the duff cable with no fuss, and the new one works better, but it's still not as good a fit as the Humax cable, and I have had to fiddle with the plug in the socket a couple of times.
All in all, I would not recommend this cable, I'm going to try a "High Speed PRO-2" HDMI cable sold by HD Cable, this gets rave reviews so hopefully should be better.

I bought "2m HDMI Cable - Professional Quality / 1080p (Full HD) / v1.3 (The Latest) / Audio & Video / 24k gold Plated / Stylish Metal Finish".
This works perfectly!
