High quality and easy to install Extension kit designed specifically for increasing the length of the outlet hose supplied with most portable air conditioner units. The Kit contains everything you need to allow you to enjoy your air conditioner unit. THE PROBLEM: Most if not all Portable Air conditioner machines with a warm air exhaust hose only come with around 1 to 1.2 metres of vent tube. As you know, this is no use to anyone as it means your very restricted on where you can place the machine. Most of the time, the short length of hose supplied will not even reach an open window. OUR SOLUTION: We have created the perfect solution that will let you place your machine exactly where you want it. Included with the kit is a specially designed lightweight length (3 metres) of heat resistant white PVC Venting hose. The hose has a diameter of 6 inches to allow the hot air from your machine to vent correctly over the extended length. Also supplied with the kit is a reduction ring and a roll of special heat resistant white PVC duct tape to make the seal between your existing vent hose and the extension clean and airtight. Fully illustrated instructions with colour images also supplied to show you exactly how to install. Please be aware that this product is not designed to be used as a replacement for an existing AC units hose that has been lost or broken. The hose we supply will not attach directly to your AC machine and should not be attempted.

Fast efficient service. What a shame these machines don't have longer pipes as I cannot see that the length of pipe given would stretch to any window. Certainly not in our house.

I bought this for our reliable DeLonghi NF170 which unfortunately comes with an exhaust duct hose just short of reaching our window. The hose material is very different from the original one, it is probably closer to a thick plastic bag material with rings every few inches, but has held up very well and keeps fully open in the bends due to the air flow. We removed the original one altogether and taped this one directly to the outlet. It got the thumbs up from my other half.

Intially I thought the plastic was a little lightweight but its actually very strong and has coped with me accidentally standing on it in the middle of the night several times. There was more than enough tape supplied even though I was a bit over enthusiastic using it. I doubt the tape will ever come off on its own and it has perfectly sealed the connection between the two exhaust pipes even though the pipe on my air conditioning unit is of a slighlty different size.

thin cheap solution
a really thin plastic tube that just about does the job, but I will get some aluminium tubing from a good building supplier to replace it, it worked as a stop gap

Rip off for a piece of garbage!
What you will receive in the mail is a piece of cheap plastic that sells for $10 at my local Home Depot. The item I got is nothing like the one in the picture. Read more
