The Hotpots are by far my favourite band - the best band I've seen live & genuinely hilarious comedy. This beer-themed album is possibly one of their best albums yet as the laughs keep coming - no matter how many times you've listened to it. The CAMRA-themed 'The beer festival' is a personal favourite along with fun songs such as 'The Perfect Pint', 'It's the Beer Talking' and the really catchy 'No lock on the door' and 'If I had a tardis'... I could go on! But seriously, at this price, the album is an absoloute bargain & you will not regret it. I also recommend listening to their earlier albums if this is your first encounter!

It was utterly inspired to do an entire album about beer and pubs, and they've executed it very well. Catchy tunes with funny lyrics, with the odd curve ball to make you laugh out loud. Some good double entendres in "The Barmaid's Baps" - and who hasn't wanted a roll with the barmaid?

Live the hotpots are a great experience, this 'concept' cd of beer related songs will be a great companion with a friends and a beer or six. Learn the words, sing a long and enjoy.
