EZ Mode has a whole new look, upgraded with extra-friendly capabilities like detailed fan controls, XMP profile settings, SATA information, and fast clock adjustment. Together, these perfect your BIOS experience.

ASUS USB 3.0 Boost technology supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) in Windows 8. THis does all it is meant to, it's eay to reflash and runs my CPU well with good automatic fan controls.

But, i don't knwo if it is only Asus that do this, they have three pins for resetting the clock, a pin-cap sits on two of these at any given time and you move it for 10-15 seconds when you want to reset the clock and then move it back to the original 2 pins. This is only briefly touched upon within the manual and i did a silly thing not having seen this type of thing before.

When building my pc above these three pins stamped on to the m/b it says CPU_FAN so i popped the cap off and stuck the CPU_FAN controller on, i realised this didn't seem right so referred to he manual and moved it to the next bit along...i binned the cap! This caused me around 6 weeks of issues, the PC would randomly turn on or wouldn't turn on at all, it was driving me up the wall, until i had it open last weekend and i was looking at these three uncovered pinsa nd something clicked with me about the cap. Fortunately the caps are on old IDE drives so i popped it on the pins et voila the computer works fine now.

I knock a star off as the manual could cover this a bit more, i admit my stupidity in this but the stamping of the m/b did contribute to this happening.

Otherwise, no issues and it seems to work great.

For the price (£52) it is great.

The board is well-designed and has everything you need for a mini itx build, as long as you're not overclocking but one particularly annoyance was that the mouse and keyboard stopped working (usb drivers) upon windows 7 install. I had to use an old ps/2 mouse and on screen windows keyboard to install windows. It worked on linux though.

Another thing was that the board appeared to have been opened before and hadn't been packed like new, which should have been made clear to me.

Apart from these minor complaints, I am happy with my purchase.

Great , simple little board with good features. Works fine with 4670k and will allow small overclocks upto 4,2ghz. A great buy for me.

A good motherboard with advanced features, more than enough for a min-itx machine. good BIOS and works ok in Linux.

The good:
Seems like good quality
Has worked flawlessly

The less good:
Somewhat limited selection of ports (few USB3 and SATA3 ports)
Fairly basic chipset in terms of functionality
