Product Description

Seen by many as being even scarier than Hostel and the Saw films, H6 is an even more brutal and unrelenting trip into a dark and unforgiving place, where escape is not an option. After serving 25 years behind bars serial killer Antonio Frau is released, but far from rehabilitated. Told that he has inherited an old hotel from a relative he’s never met, Antonio takes advantage of his new home and sets about purifying society of those he considers ‘unclean’... Sick, twisted and utterly compelling, H6 is must-see film for committed horror fans. It will test your resolve and your nerves like no other film you’ve seen before!

2.0 out of 5 stars Quirky Spanish Language Horror Disappointment 1 Jan 2008
Format:DVD
Yes, definitely quirky, with an unreal, unbalanced main character and accomodating whores who seem too desperate to be befriended to be believeable. Add a 'wife' who never enters the killing room despite living in the building, a chainsaw for added effect, gaps in the killer's performance, horror cliches, and so on.....and this film is hardly worth the bother. On the plus side there is a lack of close-ups of lingering mutilation and degradation, and a lack of blood and body organs.

1.0 out of 5 stars This film could have given so much more! 26 Jan 2008

OK,I have to say that I haven't seen Hostel yet but if it's as boring as this then it will end up in the same bin. It's really come to something when you cannot believe ANYTHING that is written on the DVD cover.Personally I didn't think any of the SAW series of films have been scary and all the nonsense about "trips to dark, unforgiving places" is pure hyperbole! I know that sometimes "less is more" but why the producer in this film did not think to make use of the prosthetics department on at least one occasion I don't know,it needed something?

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite good SK film 15 Sep 2011
By JONESY
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Other reviews of this have been quite damning, but i thought it was reasonably good.
One person argues that the working girls are too gullible for their own good, but i didn't see it that way. One was strung out on heroin, and the other was on the promise of a better life.
That the wife didn't suspect seems reasonable, as she was in a marriage of convenience, and was often out visiting her lover.
Thought the acting was A1 and that the other reviews were harsh
