Product Description

The Movin' Sit' & Moving' Sit Jr. are inflatable dynamic air cushions which activate instrinsic trunk muscles to support the spine. The wedge shape encouarges a seated posture with a forward pelvic position and the movement makes the user feel off balance if not sitting correctly. The wedge encourages 'active sitting' as the user is required to activate muscles to remain stable due to the unpredictable base of support thus improving concentration. By pushing the user's pelvic muscles forward, stress on the lower back is reduced and slouching is prevented, therefore improving posture.

The movin sit wedge is a great tool for children with special needs, who struggle to sit still or have poor core stabbility.

My son uses one at school and I have brought him one for at home. It was well worth every penny, it is a big help to him.

absolutely marvellous! my granddaughter uses one of these at school as she suffers from joint hypermobility problems and it has made all the difference in her being able to sit still and comfortably for meals or doing anything that she needs to sit down for. i would recommend this a million times over!!!

I have 2 dyslexic children out of 3. Both are like fidgeting ants but this cushion was used as an experiment in the holidays and I couldn't believe the instantaneous transformation so they now both have them at school and are consequently much more able to concentrate and focus on their lessons. Teachers are so impressed they are now recommending this cushion to parents of other manic-fidgeters. I am now going to have to purchased duplicates to keep at home. Give it a try, I highly recommend.

I purchased this cushion after reading reviews. I must admit I was a bit sceptical! But it does work - my son is now able to stay in his chair for lessons

I purchased this for my 7 year old son who has Asperger's following a seminar on Occupational Therapy where the OT had a number of items which were recommended for children with ASD. Since receiving it my son carries it everywhere with him & even puts it on top of his booster seat in the car. The handy design with integrated handle makes it easy to carry & goes pretty much unnoticed by most people - even the assistants in the crèche he attends thought it was his lunchbox! He uses it at school, and at home/crèche when he is doing his homework & it seems to really help with concentration & fidgeting. I would definitely recommend giving this a try if you have a child with an ASD who finds it hard to get comfortable & concentrate when doing their work.

I got this for myself when I was pregnant and getting problems with my hips! It made such a difference, it encouraged me to sit properly and the pain almost went completely. If I sat for more than 5 minutes without it I was in agony again- recommended!

My son aged 8 uses one of these at school as he is restless, fidgets and needs to move constantly. The teacher has seen a marked improvement in his 'disruptive' behaviour as he can now move discreetly from the waist down satisfying his need to move without jumping all over the place. However, I bought this cushion thinking it would be the same, 'Junior' actually refers to the size of the thing. It is much smaller than the one he has at school. It is okay and has helped a bit at home at mealtimes but I would have gone for the bigger one if I'd realised.

Move n Sit Wedge
These wedges are fantastic. they provide sensory feedback for autistic youngsters whilst sitting and enable ADHD people to sit comfortably. The difference is unbelievable to see.
