I live in the UK. I went to school in Yorkshire and attended agricultural college in Lancashire but I have lived most of my adult life in Scotland after marrying a Scottish farmer.
I have always been connected with dairy farming and my books usually have a Scottish farming background with true to life anecdotes about farming and country life, although my characters are fictional, and some of my novels are historical.
My three children plus grandchildren keep me on my toes and up to date. I enjoy gardening, local history, reading and cookery as well as my writing.
