The unique taste is achieved thanks to the use of premium Belgian chocolate made with 100% cocoa butter and the Guylian hazelnut praline filling. Guylian Seashells are recognized by their marbled look and blend of finest Belgian milk, dark and white chocolate.
Guylian uses a unique blend of cocoa beans from West Africa and the home made praline filling is sourced from top quality hazelnuts from the best Mediterranean growing regions of Turkey and Italy. Guylian is the only Belgian chocolatier manufacturing its own praline. The traditional recipe with the unique system of roasting and caramelizing hazelnuts developed by Guylian, result in the delicious praline filling.

This is a big and really impressive-seeming box of chocolates, weighing just short of 2lbs. It's been on offer two years in a row during Amazon's Black Friday deals week - though it has to be said that 2010's price of a fiver was definitely an improvement over this year's tenner! If you can get them on offer, then you're getting an imposing-looking box of chocolates for somewhere between stocking-filler and secret-Santa money.
Although you get a huge box there really isn't much in the way of flavour variation to be had here so, since chocolate tastes vary, if you're planning to pay anything like the RRP then it's worth finding out if the person you're buying for likes Guylian!

I bought this box of chocolates in the black friday promotion.. HUUUGE box of chocolates.. arrived in a big amazon box with brown paper to protect the box! so not bashed in or anything. Great buy!! brilliant as a gift for christmas!

I ordered this in the Balck Friday flash sales and couldn't have got a better deal! For so many chocolates the price was amazing. The packaging was a bit excessive but I'd rather lots of packaging than a bashed box of chocolates! Roll on christmas - I can't wait to eat them!
