A huge Green Day fan since 97 and to be honest I never liked 21 Guns when I first heard it. All though a slow song and not your basic Green Day its grown on me and is now becoming one of my favourite songs. Not to mention I've been waiting on them to release Favorite Son for ages.

People make me laugh 4 Jan 2010
By L. Vange - Published on
Format: Audio CD
I decided to write this to discredit another reviewer, who obviously has something against either this genre or this artist.
Believe it or not, 21 Guns is not about suicide. This song is about knowing when you've been beaten, and giving up before it kills you. If people would pay attention to the lyrics find where it's coming from, they would know this too.
The vocals are very well done, I'd like to see people who say it sucks to try hitting notes that high, without their voices squeaking.
The beat is steady and the cords sound perfect for the mood the lyrics are written in.
Don't judge something unless you understand it, it only makes you look like a fool.

Workout tunes 28 Nov 2009

21 Guns is another Green Day "best of show." Their style is just what I'm looking for in a good, motivational workout. Heavy drums and guitar lead ins cause me to pick up my intensity and work harder.
