Product Description

Make room on your workbench and set aside a chunk of time! This fabulous Master Grade version of Wing Gundam Zero (as it appeared in the Endless Waltz OVA) is as impressive in the box as it is when completed! About 270 plastic parts (all molded in colour) snap together for assembly; polycaps at the joints ensure superb flexibility. Building starts with Bandai's world-famous "inner frame" system, designed to allow the final product to move and pose as it would in the original series; then the armour, including the wings for which the mecha was named, is attached to the frame. Included weapons are the built-in machine cannons (in the shoulders), two Beam Sabres, and the Twin Buster Rifles. A custom display stand (unassembled and unpainted) is included so you can pose the finished mecha in any number of mid-flight poses, while keeping it safe. A super-tiny scale figure (unpainted) of Hiiro Yui is included as well. Foil stickers, clear stickers, and Bandai's very sharp dry-transfer decals, are included for adding detail to the model once built.

On another page... 22 Jun 2009

Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
This model, as with all models in general, was a lot of fun to build. It looks great and the support frame helps to add to its image. As per its posability, the main body is extremely durable which allows for many different poses and changes. The wings also look great with its multiple wing joints, but that's also wherein lies the problem.

The wings, which make up a good HALF of the model itself, are victim to poor joints and gravity. You can get the wings to move literally however you want, but may take some minor tweaks and adjustments to get them to stay where you want them. The "flat" wings are no problem, however, because there are not nearly as intricate as the other pair. The many little "feathers" on the wings are not as unruly as the parent wing, but are brittle, and will fall off rather easily if you're not careful.

Overall, this model is not for beginners nor people without a gentle hand. It looks great once you get it how you want it to look and is guaranteed to be spotlight in your collection. Just keep it out of reach of small children as the pieces easily pop off and pose a potential hazard.

What I think 30 Dec 2011

Over all this is a good model to put together. Still I gave this a low score because just seems to smaller then or thiner then my other 1/100 scale size.

Only thing thats not really durable is the wings, but once you have them place in a way you like then its works. But If over used, then I can see them not being very effective. Unless you glue them to a placeing you like amd keep it that way.

Buster gun. I can't get it place right with to have that great pose. For now my fig have have gun in each hands. So this is a problem. that can be fix with glue if you want.

Over all, it was great putting model together. Not as much as a challenge as I thought. It comes with a base to have the fig floating. So if you use a black back ground it be cool to see it float.
