5.0 out of 5 stars Finally Endless Waltz hits these shores! 29 July 2003
Format:DVD
Well it's been a while between the release of the series and the movie, but it's worth it. Endless Waltz is one of the finest animated movies I've seen. I give big credit to the Sotsu Agency and Sunrise who have been designing excellent giant robots for years now. The design of the various Gundams never ceases to amaze me. If you haven't watched the Gundam Wing series, don't get this...yet. Watch the series and then get it as, like most anime, it gets complicated. Otherwise get this NOW. If only for the scene where Heero boards Wing Gundam Zero and the new angelic wings unfurl before it streaks off into the distance. The only niggle I have with this is that the appearance of the Gundams changes rapidly here from the series. When the animators were asked about this, they said "They were always meant to look like that." Well why didn't you just animate them like that then! But apart from that, this is a top class movie and Gundam Wing is my second-favourite anime of all time behind Neon Genesis Evangelion.

3.0 out of 5 stars Gundam Wing-Operation 2 23 May 2002
By A Customer
Format:DVD
As with disc one, the cover art is the same as the US. Duo and Deathscythe on the front, and stats about both on the back. This is much better then disc one, which had stats on Heero and..Sandrock . The menu is also the same as disc one, just with different scenes and music playing. In terms of episodes, you get 6-10, available in English, French, Japanese with French subs or Japanese with English subs. In extras, you get:
A gallery of Gundam Wing video covers - Info on Heero - Karaoke 'Just Love' - The short previews of each ep which are normally at the end of eps. Like the last disk, the gallery is nice. The info on Heero has some problems, such as 'Japanese' being spelt 'japanese' and the section about which MS he has piloted only mentioning Gundams. The Karaoke is nice, but it has the credits running over them. Considering this was not the case on disc one, it's annoying and seems lazy. All in all, this disc does feel better then the first disc. You get some good episodes and some nice extras. A must buy for Gundam Wing fans

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! 29 Oct 2003
Format:DVD
The movie is truly something else, the animation is mind blowing. The hitch someone mentioned above about the change in Gundam design is small, and the reason is simple...recreating such elegant and detailed gundams for the 54 episode series would not only be long but expensive at that! The OAV, contains powerful and moving music, and a truly incredible storyline, for someone who has watch this OAV 3 times now, and knows it as well as the back of my hand, it must not be missed! The Gundams aren't the only thing though that makes this movie great, the actions of the pilots on their own is great as well, right down to Heero's make shift plan to get out of a tight spot!
