This manga follows the fortunes of the the five Gundam pilots (and Relena Dorlian), several years before the TV series begins. It shows us some of the crucial events that led them to becoming Gundam pilots. It also tells us of the events that occured directly before their descent to Earth.
The drawing is absolutely excellent, and the writing is superb. The artwork is sublime, each expression and fine detail is perfectly captured. The writing is sharp and compelling, and gives us great insights into the personalities of the pilots.
The layout too, is perfect. Everything is clear and well thought out, I can't fault it in any way.
This manga makes a great addition to the TV series, giving us a greater and deeper understanding of Gundam Wing.
I honestly can't recommend it enough!

Gundam Wing Episode is a must buy for any Gundam Wing fan!
It shows you all the pilots and others lives up to and after Operation M.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, great philosophy theories and amazing graphics. Great note at the end by Katsuyaki Sumisawa,

I was quite surprised by the size of this book, was smaller then I expected,(A5) but what it lacked in size, it easily made up for it quality!
The book details the stories of the 5 gundamn Pilots before the TV series, and includes Relena, and some short interludes of Trieze and Zechs as well...ow and some!

All the art is Ink black/white/grey, but the pictures are crisp and very appealing! Ideal if you want something to copy Manga art from too!It also includes a time line, and some end of chapter explanations.Its well written and easy to understand.
Sob worthy, dramatic and revealing!A bargain !Recommended to GW fans who have seen the TV series!!
