The anime series was taken to a whole new level with "Dragonball Z" but Gundam Wing grabbed me differently, its a more mature affair, the charachters are more interesting and involving and there are strong political themes throughout. There are 49 episodes in the series, this DVD containing episodes 6-10 which are 5 of the most important episodes of the entire saga as they set the scene heavily for the main charachters, the Gundam pilots and Relena Peacecraft.
One thing that will mesmorise you about this show is the amazing battles between the mobile suits, when the Gundams enter battle and the overpowering battle theme music begins to play the blood begins pumping as you know that carnage is about to ensue.
Its a rollercoaster ride that will have you at the edge of your seat and its something that i would highly reccomend to anyone who likes manga or anime, its also good as a program to begin watching if u are new to the whole anime concept.

Well it's been a while between the release of the series and the movie, but it's worth it. Endless Waltz is one of the finest animated movies I've seen. I give big credit to the Sotsu Agency and Sunrise who have been designing excellent giant robots for years now. The design of the various Gundams never ceases to amaze me. If you haven't watched the Gundam Wing series, don't get this...yet. Watch the series and then get it as, like most anime, it gets complicated. Otherwise get this NOW. If only for the scene where Heero boards Wing Gundam Zero and the new angelic wings unfurl before it streaks off into the distance. The only niggle I have with this is that the appearance of the Gundams changes rapidly here from the series. When the animators were asked about this, they said "They were always meant to look like that." Well why didn't you just animate them like that then! But apart from that, this is a top class movie and Gundam Wing is my second-favourite anime of all time behind Neon Genesis Evangelion.

As with disc one, the cover art is the same as the US. Duo and Deathscythe on the front, and stats about both on the back. This is much better then disc one, which had stats on Heero and..Sandrock . The menu is also the same as disc one, just with different scenes and music playing. In terms of episodes, you get 6-10, available in English, French, Japanese with French subs or Japanese with English subs. In extras, you get:
A gallery of Gundam Wing video covers - Info on Heero - Karaoke 'Just Love' - The short previews of each ep which are normally at the end of eps. Like the last disk, the gallery is nice. The info on Heero has some problems, such as 'Japanese' being spelt 'japanese' and the section about which MS he has piloted only mentioning Gundams. The Karaoke is nice, but it has the credits running over them. Considering this was not the case on disc one, it's annoying and seems lazy. All in all, this disc does feel better then the first disc. You get some good episodes and some nice extras. A must buy for Gundam Wing fans
