I have to say I'm a little disappointed with this clock. But then it's not expensive and you get what you pay for.
Good points - it's fun, it's a good way of waking you up without you just turning the machine off and going back to sleep.
Bad points - the clock display doesn't glow except when the alarm is going off, so you can't see what the time is in the middle of the night. Also the instructions have been poorly translated into English making set up a little difficult. It's also quite easy to mistakenly record over the normal alarm sound. There is a facility to record 5 seconds of your own sound and my son managed to record 5 seconds of silence by pressing the wrong buttons so we couldn't understand why the target was flipping up with no sound the next day. Resetting just involves removing the batteries, but it's not obvious that's what you have to do, and resetting the clock and alarm from the instructions is a bit tortuous.
However, it's a bit of fun and it works.

Bit of a nightmare setting it up but once you know the routine its a bit of fun. Unfortunately it doesn't continually glow to tell you the time so if you wake at all you have to press a certain button to make it glow.
