This is a great toy and very good quality.
Yes, you cannot change batteries and it says it lasts 6 months ( well, if you don't abuse it) but you can make a "chirurgical operation" and change them when finished.
I saw the other Gummy Bears from other resellers( cheaper with about £2 per total) but I bought from this one because it was better advertised --> Good Advertisment Won! Couldn't afford to get a "used like" Gummy Bear to my little niece :).
Update (30 July 2011): Just to mention that the batteries run out in about 4 months (heavily used) --> changed them, after a "chirurgical intervention" and all it's ok now! The Gummy Bar is now the Favourite Toy! :).
