The book is giving a good overview for those becoming interested into knowing more about the Gullah/Geechee history and who these people are. Often have a admired their handiwork in Charleston, S. C. Recently I took interest in knowing how and where and find myself digging deeper and deeper I to the roots.
Recommended for readers with interest in African/ American history.
