This brand new Tiger Rack Guitar Stand is designed to accomodate up to seven guitars at once and is built for versatility, allowing you to miX and match between electric, acoustic, classical or bass guitars - All standard shapes should fit. These new multiple stands are the perfect choice for guitarists on a budget who need a strong rack that saves space, protects your guitars at all contact points, and importantly is also affordable. Previously multiple guitar stands could well set you back a small fortune, but these fantastic new stands by Tiger cater for those who need a simple yet effective storage solution that doesnt cost the earth. Lined with an incredible 6mm thick foam padding at all contact points, your guitars are safe from any scratches or knocks from the stand itself, whilst rubber feet ensure grip on virtually any floor surface. Between the tall rack support itself and the two rear feet, you are given 7.5cm clearance for the overhanging guitar headstocks, meaning the tops of your guitars shouldnt come into contact with the wall if the stand is sat up against one in the house or studio. The tall rack itself is height adjustable between 73cm and 87cm, although the minimum setting of 73cm is usually more than adequate. Another available adjustment comes in the foam padding that protects the bottom of your guitars - The foam covered metal bar closest to the two front feet can be set in two different places, either 12cm from its counterpart bottom foam bar, or 16cm - The latter, wider setting is usually preferred for bigger bodied acoustic guitars, whilst the 12cm setting is usually favoured by those with smaller bodied electrics and basses. This is a good stand that easily holds my 6 guitars (1 acoustic, 2 electric, 3 bass) My only quibble with it is that some guitars take a bit of fiddling to get them to sit securely. Fender style guitars sit the best but other with a rounded base take some getting used to.

I bought this stand to accomodate my guitars, I have two electric and five acoustic. The acoustics fill the stand leaving the other two leaning against the wall. Recomended for rockers otherwise the discription is misleading.

For the price, this is excellent value. However you won't get 7 acoustic guitars on the rack; it will hold 7 electrics or a mix of the two. Read more
