Format:Audio CD
Ok, remember the days when Prince released singles with previously unreleased tracks on them? Remember the days of those brilliant extended remixes of his songs? Whatever happened to those days? Here we have a single with just one song on that's already available on an album that came free with the mail on sunday newspaper. Yeah yeah ... it's a great song but it needs something more than just this one song on it, even an extended mix would be better than this. He did the same thing last year with Te Amo Corazon and Black Sweat was released with another album track on it ... and a pretty mediocre one at that. Prince ... if you read customer reviews of your music at any time ... take note and get a grip, if you want to make it back into the charts then you'll have to try harder than this, we all know you recorded more than just the 10 tracks for the Planet Earth album soooooooooooo ........ release them as bonus tracks on your CD singles for Gods sake and let us fans see you back in the charts where you belong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...I must agree with G. Richardson here.Trackwise it's good, but as a product it's a disappointment.
I long for good b-sides on a single.
Apart from that, I really think "Chelsea Rodgers" or "Somewhere Here On Earth" are stronger tracks.
The first mentioned has more "hit appeal" to it.

No need to ditch a release if you don't like the format, I would say.
A very pop-friendly release by Prince, with the same kind of feel-good accessibility as older songs like 'Cream' or 'Cinnamon Girl'.
Not a very strong melody (often dangerously close to 'Girls And Boys'), but impeccable production, and both impressive and humorous guitar solos. Well worth it.
