5 reasons why you need these guitar leads...

While gigging regularly, we've used/tripped over many guitar leads (and drunken drummers). So we've learnt a few things about guitar cables, and what you really need from them.
Here's 5 reasons why you need these No Bull Music Gear guitar leads in your setup:

  1. They keep your sound intact
This high grade oxygen-free copper guitar cable won't eat away at your tone, noiseless guitar cable means that (unlike cheaper cables) you won't get that awful 'rattling' sound degrading your sound everytime you move around. Gold plated tips aid conductivity to keep your signal strong.

  2. You'll never have to dispose of a guitar lead
Lifetime warranty on every cable? No problem. If it stops working, you're covered. Your No Bull Guitar Lead is a friend for life. Think how much money you'll save...

  3. You can't rip the cable from the plug when someone stands on your guitar lead
It can happen when you play live. Singer stands on your guitar lead while you're moving around, your cheap cable rips away from the plug, then no-one can hear you. No Bull cables are automatically gripped by the internal mechanism of jack plug, meaning they won't rip away. Other cables which use 'spring cable relief (basically a spring stuck out of the plug) tend to lose the spring quickly, then the lead is very easy to rip away from the plug.

  4. You can choose your perfect guitar cable
Available in various lengths (6m/20ft is recommended for live use, the shorter lengths are more suited to studio/bedroom use), various colours to help you differentiate guitar leads for

I bought this last year but have hardly used it. Nonetheless, the cable solder broke creating a short circuit that has put paid to my almost new little Orange practice amp. Maybe I was unlucky, but I noticed from new that the cable bent where it left the jack. Would suggest you check your connection if you notice something similar. For me at least this has been a false economy, and I have now bought better and more expensively.

This is a decent enough lead at a good price.
6m is the standard lead for live work if you do play in any but the smallest venues. In small practice rooms or little venues you might prefer a shorter lead to avoid stepping on it or tripping over it!
I have used these live with no problems (and stepped on them many times!) and they are reliable.

Last Summer I decided to start gigging live and realized quite late on that I needed a jack-to-jack to hook my Microstation up to my amp. I quickly bought this lead - thinking it'd last just for the one performance. Little did I know it would still be here today as my go-to cable!

This lead stands out from the rest for several reasons:

Firstly, and most importantly, sound quality. The sound that this lead carries is phenomenal, with no crackles or pops - just fantastic clarity! I have experienced absolutely no sonic interference with this cable, which goes to show that the shielding functionality really does work! I've tried out many more expensive leads which did not perform anywhere near as well.

Secondly, portability. This jack lead is reasonably long at 3m, and should give you the freedom to move about with your instruments in most stage environments. However, the flexibility that arises from not having the jack plug and lead moulded together, means that despite its length, you're free to fold it up compactly - a huge bonus for touring musicians with limited space.

Finally, durability. I'm prone to getting a little excitable on stage, but this lead has survived various drops, twists and bumps without a hitch. The component materials appear to be sturdy enough to withstand even the most chaotic of live sets.

Overall, definitely worth the money - and with a whopping Five Year Warranty, you can rest assured that this lead can accompany you on many musical adventures to come!

I've brought other cheap guitar leads and they brake very easily. I was a bit sceptical of buying another cheap lead but when I got this I was pleased as its heavy duty and you can feel the build quality. I have had no problems with it(bought the lead in November 2009). I'm very impressed by the build quality for such a low price. The sound quality is much better than most cheap leads. Overall great value ,quality and a fast delivery.
