4.0 out of 5 stars Guitar Hero World Tour (Guitar pack) 23 Mar 2009
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I ordered this game after having fun on Guitar Hero 3. I've not really played much beyond a bit of "Quick Play" but first impressions are good, although i may need a bigger TV!
    Points i'd like to make:
    1. Take advantage of the first class delivery as the delivery charge is just £1.65 + VAT and is a big package!
    2. My guitar ocassionally thinks i am strumming when i'm not. Very frustrating when there's a long intro and you get booed off stage before you've even (purposefully) hit a note.
Thinking of returning due to above point.

Anyone else with dodgy guitar on this game?

    3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Game play...Correct Songs? 8 Jun 2009
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I brought this bundle, after i was Guitar hero virgin. I had played it at parties etc, but was yet to own it. I brought this version, as for the price, i wanted the most up to date game.

I was not dissapointed, the game play was instantly enjoyable (mainly due to the free batteries), the slide bar is an enjoyable addition to the guitar also. The carreer mode started modestly, meaning most people can start on easy, and practically complete it, meaning you have the sense of accomplishment, which other computer games make much harder to acheive.

However, As the name dictates, this games is meant to show case legendary guitar songs for us to drool over, and act like rock stars too. It is therefore suprising to have several None legendary tracks on here for example, Coldplay - Shiver, Interpol - Obstacle1, and The Enemy - Aggro, Not taking anything away from the songs or artists, but do they Really deserve a place on this game? Secondly, The leap from Hard to expert is really quite a leap, much more so than Medium to Hard.

these are my Only faults with the game, as the actual game has evolved so much throughout the series, however, with so many epic tracks out there, i hope they stick to them for the next enstalment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Too good..much better than what I expected..!! 11 Mar 2009
    By VA
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Initially I was confused whether to buy this bundle. Lot of people had reported that the guitar was faulty and broke after few days. Also there was a lot of comparison between GHWT and Rock Band. To be honest I was not expecting the guitar to last for over a week. I havent played Rock Band but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the guitar and how cool the gameplay is.

I have had it for almost a month now and I am very pleased with this bundle. Activision I think has done a great job in putting the game together. I enjoy the entire look and feel of the game.

For people who havent tried Rock Band or Guitar Hero, this one will surely be better than what you expect out of a music game.

Overall I feel that its a great purchase and with the option of returning it, one must go for it.

    4.0 out of 5 stars Redman 23 Mar 2009
    By Redman
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Really good service. chose standard delivery (3-5 days) and came on the third day.

The game comes with rock tracks old new, some easier, others more difficult. overall, the game is ADDICTIVE. Once one song is completed, you always look for new songs and gigs. Once their done, there is always the added difficulties. Not to mention the acheivement system to reward you of your efforts.
In this Guitar Hero, users have the option of creating their own tracks (using the G.H. Music Studio) to the music center where other G.H.W.T. players can download the tracks you've created for free!

the game now has character creation. This also applies to the customization and creation of instruments.

The guitar controller supports and all new Kramer shaped body with the traditional green, red, yellow, blue, orange buttons with an added touch bar. This is optional but adds to the Guitar Hero experience. The touch bar is used for notes usually played in solos, for example in Mihael Jackson - Beat It, the solo has finger tapped notes. When played in G.H.W.T, these finger-tapped notes can be used with the touch bar.

Overall, the game is a success, enjoyable to play and highly addictive.

    - If your not so great (like me), I recommend playing on Medium difficulty.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money! 29 July 2009
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I think the game was good, the guitar was bigger than other guitar hero's which I think is a good thing because it actually felt like your playing a guitar and not a banjo :p

    Anyway 4/5 overall worth getting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but squeaky 15 Jun 2009
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I bough this game after borrowing GT 3 from a friend. There is a great track list and overall it is loads of fun. I am really impressed with it BUT, my strum bar squeaks terribly when strumming 'down'. This started after about 2 hours playing. However, I contacted Amazon and without any fuss they told me that they will send me out a new package (they could not send a guitar on its own) and for me to send the squeaky one back. Looking on Google, this is a major problem with the guitars and I am not the only one. Bear it in mind

4.0 out of 5 stars Guitar Hero rocks 23 Mar 2009
    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought the guitar because it seemed like fun to me. And it totally is! It's very nice to play alone, and with some friends. With many friends around it would be better if I bought the whole set, such that more can pay.
My two year old son also likes the rock next to me. He's waving and clapping to the crowds in te game. Much fun :)

    4.0 out of 5 stars You Rock! ;o) 16 Feb 2009

    Platform for Display:Xbox 360|Edition:Guitar Bundle
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Finally got this game at the weekend, now the price is at a more reasonable level. Have always thought this genre of game is a lot of fun, and this latest instalment does not disappoint.

The guitar has been revised for World Tour, and now includes a touch-sensitive 'slider bar'. This allows certain notes to be played by just sliding your finger to the next without strumming again. It's also used during long notes to change the sound (similar to the whammy bar). Big advantage is - ITS WIRELESS! I always found the wired guitars cables were not long enough.

The track listing is decent enough (see previous persons post), and there are a lot of downloadable tracks. There is also the GHTunes store where you can upload/download user tracks for free!

I can't comment on the singing/drums part of the game as I have not got the drums, and I dont sing! hehe (Although you can apparently use the normal headset/mike to sing if you want to).
