Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is one of my favorite games on the Wii. I also have it on the XBOX 360, but prefer the Wii version; the XBOX 360 just makes too much noise on its own, which destracts from the music in the game. Anyway, here's my mini review:
The presentation, from the box to the ingame graphics sets a perfect atmosphere/mood. I like the lava themed intro, as well as the heavy metal influenced quest mode. Sure, the graphics are not as good on the Wii as on the XBOX 360, but you won't notice while you're busy playing the game.
If you're into heavier music, you're going to like the soundtrack to this years Guitar Hero. I love most of these tracks, especially that they've included Rush's "2112".
I must admit, I'm not very good at this game. I play mostly on "Medium" difficulty, which is actually a bit too hard for me. It's easy to set the difficulty level to your liking. I think the game does a good job at being accessible for everyone, from "Beginners" to "Experts".
One problem I've found, is that the "Easy" level is too easy (for me), while the "Medium" level is too hard. I would like a system which automatically adapts the difficulty to your playing style. Maybe its not even possible.
Overall, I liked this game, and STILL like it - I think its better than last years Guitar Hero 5 in many ways. Why not 5 stars? Because there's not much new compared to last years Guitar Hero 5.
