4.0 out of 5 stars Nice idea, but what if...? 4 July 2009
Platform for Display:PLAYSTATION 3
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I REALLY liked the idea of having some of the original PS2-songs for the PS3. But I think it is a little sad that they decide to sell it in it's own box. I mean, they could've put it up for download instead. That way we could enjoy the already great track-list of GH: World Tour AND enjoy the songs from the original games.

I love Guitar Hero, and it is plain fun. Simple as that. GH haters/Rock Band lovers just don't see that both franchises are great. I've played both, I own both, and I like both of them.

Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits is a nice game, I am only a bit disappointed that I have to change discs when I want to play 'The Joker' after 'Smoke On The Water'.... A downloadable version would be truly awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome 11 Aug 2009
Platform for Display:PLAYSTATION 3
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I found this whole game just so awesome, it was short, but the songs were superb! The main criticism is that people say the guitar hero makers at Neversoft created it to make more money, but the reason they made it was requests from fans, and I think it is awesome that the Neversoft team responded to the fans in this way, The Locations are awesome, te set list is awesome, every thing is just awesome! well done Neversoft

4.0 out of 5 stars GH: Smash Hits 28 Aug 2012
Platform for Display:PLAYSTATION 3|Verified Purchase
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I personally bought this game just to get the songs imported to Warriors of Rock, as that's the superior in the Guitar Hero series, but I play the songs that can't be imported quite a lot (on Expert of course) So it's still very fun to play.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great game!!! 10 Oct 2010
Platform for Display:PLAYSTATION 3
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
This game is extremely funny, thanx to the possibility to use all the instruments also with old songs of older version of Guitar Hero!!!
Maybe some disappointment with the track list, because there are more songs of old Guitar Hero that are better than some of the ones chosen by Activision! But this is only a subjective opinion!!! ;)
"Through the fire and flames" is extremely funny in band version!!!! XD

5.0 out of 5 stars I've found my inner hero! 29 Oct 2009
Platform for Display:PLAYSTATION 3
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
As always, the guitar hero games do not disappoint. Compared to the later World Tour and Guitar Hero 5 the graphics do seem a bit basic but still an excellent game.
