A really solid reference. 600 chords with a chord diagram and a very clear photo for each. Each chord is also accompanied by a setence or two of explanation on how to play the chord, with the information is presented so that if you're just looking for the chord diagram or photo, it won't get in your way. Spiral spine is also nice -- doesn't close shut on its own when you're trying to hold the guitar and look at the book.

I've bought three (yes,3!) copies of this book as presents for my friends; that's how impressed I am. It not only shows just about every chord you can think of, and some you can't, but also outlines HOW chords are constructed. This is so damn useful to those of us who are self-taught and have NO technical understanding of the machinations of music theory. It's also dead easy to use and finding chords is a breeze. (Can I have my money now?) No, just kidding; this is a really useful book.
