Thanks to Norris McWhirter and Arthur Guinness, Guinness World Records is not just a book nowadays: it's a must have, and Guinness World Records 2004 is no exception.

It's packed with fantastic feats, astonishing achievements, and simply staggering successes.
Guinness World Records 2004 is so aesthetically pleasing, and so damn interesting, you'll pick it up and won't put it down for a few hours.
It's full of awe-inspiring stuff, but be warned: it's not a book for the easily-put-off-their-dinner-by-a-gory-picture type.

Experience the world's best-selling authority on astonishing facts and unparalleled human achievements... for instance, did you know that:

- The fastest piece of furniture in the world is a
motorised sofa, with a top speed of 87 mph?

- The 650-volt shock produced by an electric eel
