After playing this at a friends house I can definitely recommend this.

At first I wasn't sure if it would be any good. After playing the excellent Wii Sports, then reading bad reviews about all the similar games that followed, I assumed it would be like all the rest... but it wasn't.

There are loads of different games to play. You move around the world and choose between the different challenges, using inventive motions with the controllers, e.g. cycling, revving a motorbike and trapeze walking.
The games can be serious or crazy, and you get money for competing. This money can be used to unlock more games.

This game is great for parties or when friends are round as you try to beat each others scores. You can also connect it to the internet to try and beat scores from your region or from around the world.

I've given 4 stars as its not the longest game and you will most likely play all the games and move on, but its still great to have to compete with friends or beat your old scores.

I disagree- I found the instructions understandable, and were quite easy to replicate in game. My younger brother, who is eight years of age also had no issue in playing any of the games, and can quite proudly boast a world record of shearing 5 sheep in under 13 seconds! (I, on the other hand, can smash 66 melons with my head in a minute) Don't let one bad review prevent you from buying what is an original game that can keep you (and an opponent) entertained for hours.

Over the last few years we have brought a family game at christmas - always been a traditional board game, which have been played over the christmas break then discarded as the year progresses (left gavering dust on a shelf). The Guiness Book of Records game for the WII is great - hours of fun to be had by the whole family with plenty of challenges for all ages to enjoy, my favoutite is ripping the telephone directory - this took me, my wife and eight year old son about an hour to work out - but when we finally did it the challenge began to see who could hold the record.

Heartly recommend this game - great fun - if a little tiring
