Calf in the cottage is all about Mandy Hope and her best friend James Hunter.When Sam Western hears he cant buy next doors farm he gets very angry. In revenge he walks his dogs through the farm without them on a lead which is scaring the animals without permission, also he decides to hide the new born calf who is very weak in the cottage! when the owner finds out he is very angry with him.find out what happens to Sam Western by reading the book! by Sarah Antell

Calf in the Cottage by Lucy Daniels is really good.I read it very fast and couldnt put it down. Its about Mandy Hope who lives with her adopted parents and they own a vets surgery. Her and her friend James go to Mr.Matthews dairy farm to help out. Marble the cow is in trouble and she is having twins. is she going to be ok? All my friends borrowed this book and they loved it too. Its well worth it even if you are not familiar with Lucy Daniels work.

I think this book was quite good but at the beginning nothing much happened, but I liked the ending, Sam Western was gutted and I'm glad Mr. Matthews won the auction.
