Product Description

Justice is as fast as a bullet. As I lie in bed with Amanda, a shot rings out in the New York night and a beautiful starlet dies outside the city's most popular nightclub. This is the kind of story I was born to chase - but I never dreamed this story began over a hundred years ago...A deadly assassin is executing high-profile victims in the most public way, using one of the deadliest guns ever made. Journalist Henry Parker's quest to uncover the truth takes him into a twisted world, where he discovers long-buried secrets of the world's most infamous outlaw. As Henry gets closer to the truth, he realises that uncovering the past could jeopardise everything he cares about. Now he has to choose between his commitment to the journalistic cause and protecting the people he loves...

In the Bin! 12 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
After having read The Mark which I found reasonably enjoyable I decided to try Jason Pinter's follow up "The Guilty". What a mistake! I struggled along trying to read this book and getting no where. By page 150 it went in the bin!

The story is ridiculous and the characters are boring. Save your money on this one!

Ridiculous beyond belief 27 April 2009
Format:Paperback
So super reporter Henry Parker is back and hopefully for the last time. Written in 1st person (always a bad omen) this has to be one of the most ridiculous stories I've come across for a very long time.
The great grandson or was it great, great grandson of Billy The Kid has arrived in New York to kill 'bad people' (in his opinion anyway) with an 1873 Winchester rifle firing .44-40 magnum rounds.
Badly written, inane dialogue with pathetic characters this book has nothing whatsover going for it. One to avoid at all costs for anyone above 12 years old.

Having not read a book before by the author, I selected it by the decription as it fits in with what is normally read.
I was not disappointed, as it is an easy read, moves along at a good pace, has enough detail to make it convincing, is not too predictable and even has a twist at the end.
I will be reading other books by this author if this is anything to go by.
